Kerikeri Airport, or also known as Bay of Islands Airport is a small airport located just a few km southeast from the main town. The airport is mostly used by the many tourists who visit this area. Facilities are limited but there is a waiting lounge and a cafe though.
Currently only Air New Zealands subsidiary Air Nelson flies regularly to Auckland using Bombardier Dash 8 turboprop aircraft.

How to get from the airport to Kerikeri city centre by public transport?

In the arrivals hall all the major car rental companies are represented. But next to renting your own car you can also get a taxi here and even a shuttle bus which links the airport with Kerikeri, Paihia and Bay of Islands. It is adviced to book a taxi or shuttle in advance.
