The airport has just one runway and four terminals, three domestic ones of which Terminal 2 is connected to the subway system and an international terminal.

How to get from the airport to Fukuoka city centre by public transport?

The airport is connected to the subway system which is often the most convenient option in getting into the city. The subway station is located under Terminal 2, the domestic terminal. If you arrive at Terminal 1 you can simply walk to Terminal 2 as they are only a five minute walk apart. From the International terminal there are free shuttle buses to take you to Terminal 2, departing every ten minutes and the trip takes ten minutes as well.
Taxis are of course available as well and a better choice if you are with several people or carrying lots of luggage: since the airport is so close to the city it will be a short and relatively cheap taxi ride.
