Buenos Aires Ministro Pistarini Airport International is also known as Ezeiza International Airport, is the largest airport in Argentina and is the main hub in South America. Airport was built between 1945 to 1949 and in 2009, the airport handles 7,924,759 passengers with 93.346 aircraft movements.
Bus: Public buses are an inexpensive way to travel from the airport to a range of destinations, including the city centre. Bus 394 runs to Monte Grande railway station and Camino de Cintura; bus 502 serves Ezeiza; bus 51 runs to ConstituciÃ³n via Monte Grande; and bus 8 operates between the airport and central Buenos Aires, Plaza de Mayo.
Shuttle: The Manuel Tienda LeÃ³n Bus Company (tel: +54 11 4315 5115; www.tiendaleon.com.ar) runs a shuttle bus service between Ezeiza Airport and downtown Buenos Aires. The journey time to the city centre is approximately one hour and tickets can be purchased at booths inside the arrivals hall or online.
Taxi: A taxi booth is located outside the terminals â€“ passengers are advised to use this pre-booking service instead of verbally agreeing a fare. Municipal taxis (tel: +54 11 5480 0066; www.taxiezeiza.com.ar) is among the providers. The journey time to the city centre is around 45 minutes by taxi.
