How many runways and passenger terminals does Auckland Airport have?

The airport is located 21 km south of the Auckland city center and consists of two terminals. One international one and a domestic one, both are located 500 meters apart and connected by a walkway and a free shuttle bus.

How to get from the airport to Auckland city centre by public transport?

The SkyBus is a airport shuttle service connecting the airport with Auckland City, operating 24/7 with two different bus routes. The SkyBus departs very regularly, every 10 to 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes in the nighttime. Travel time to the city is 40 to 60 minutes and a ticket start at $18 per adult one-way.
The 380 Airporter is a shuttle service connecting the airport with Papatoetoe Train Station where you can take a train to your destination. These buses also operate every day but not in the night time. Fares are available in the bus and start at $5.
A free shuttle bus connects the international and domestic terminal in the day time or you can walk between them (500 meter).

How much does a taxi cost from the airport to Auckland city centre?

Taxis are available outside the terminals (outside door 8 at the international terminal and outside the Jetstar forecourt at the domestic one). A ride into the city should cost around NZ$80 to $95.
